Magic Lantern Circus programme cover. This is an experimental project to collage something creepy but nice. The colours and images used are deliberately chosen to be out of my comfort zone. I personally love the fantasy feel and seemingly impossible performances of circus, but after researching about modern circus companies and their (rather bland and straightforward) show programmes, I felt there is a need to create programmes that take people back to the imaginary world. All contents are fictional, with a bit of old-fashioned words and bad jokes from me.

Font used for the title is Midnight Show by AlterDeco type foundry; and Station by Kimmy Design Fonts for headings. Both are very well made and inspired me to do more with the pages. Each spread was treated like an individual poster - large visuals and minimum amount of text. It certainly isn't the typical way to approach editorial design; I gave it a shot and am happy with how they turned out.
